Direct purchase, Fill&Buy and forwarding pull those sources into one warehouse workflow for visible-condition QC, consolidation and international dispatch. MegaShip then extends that workflow beyond ordinary parcels to eligible DDP sea-freight consignments advertised up to 3 tons. Our testing team ordered through each route to see what changes. The item price can look identical across them, but control does not: on Direct Buy the platform holds the parsed order details, on Fill&Buy the buyer must supply seller instructions and options, and on forwarding the buyer has already paid the seller and only hands over receiving and shipping. Decide the route before comparing costs, because a Fill&Buy order that is priced like a Direct Buy order still carries manual risk.
The spreadsheet handoff is where most mistakes begin
A spreadsheet cell usually carries a source URL, not a complete buying decision. Open the original listing and the iTaobuy result side by side and match the seller, item identity, selected version, quantity, source price and Chinese domestic freight. If the page cannot be parsed, do not force the link through Direct Buy — move it to Fill&Buy and preserve the seller's instructions in the row. Our testing team found this small handoff check is what prevents a clean-looking agent page from hiding a wrong variant or a half-finished manual order.
Warehouse arrival is a decision point, not a waiting room
Warehouse intake creates four choices: accept the item, ask for clarification, seek a return, or hold it for consolidation. iTaobuy's basic inspection checks visible defects and whether obvious details such as size and color appear correct; it cannot establish authenticity, internal materials, fit or durability. Review images promptly rather than treating 90 days of free storage as permission to delay, because the seller's return window usually closes long before the storage clock does.
Choose the shipping architecture, not just the cheapest line
Ordinary parcel lines suit typical consumer hauls and should be compared by chargeable weight, restrictions, tax treatment, compensation and transit estimate. Follow one cost trail from CNY source price to USD payment
A useful spreadsheet check records both the source price and the agent's displayed total. In the preview we logged on 2026-09-19, the Weidian item showed CNY 860 on iTaobuy and US$151.29 for the product; 860 ÷ 151.29 = 5.6844 CNY per US$1. The same preview added CNY 15 domestic shipping (US$2.64), making the order total US$153.93, while international shipping was quoted separately and not included. Treat this as a dated checkout snapshot, not a permanent rate, and re-run the calculation for the real order with the date, currency, domestic charges and optional services recorded side by side.
