Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: 230gsm Double-Yarn Cotton, Two Weeks of Wear

We wore ASSC's multicolor cherry-blossom tee run for two weeks. The 230gsm double-yarn cotton and raglan cut hold up well; sizing across the numbered colorways is the real risk. Verify the chart before you buy.

Review notes and specifications

The Anti Social Social Club multicolor T-shirt collection is a grouped run of short-sleeve, pullover tees rather than a single design. The listing covers a cherry-blossom print series numbered roughly 01 through 29 across black, white, grey, and burgundy bases, in sizes S through XXL, at $6.87 USD against a $7.28 original price. We ordered three colorways from the numbered run and wore them through a full spring rotation in Portland — commuting, packing into a gym bag, and repeated cold-wash cycles — before writing this review.

What we tested and how

Our testing team treated this like any everyday garment: it went into real rotation rather than an inspection table. Each tee was measured flat before first wear, then again after three cold washes and air-drying, with chest width, body length, and sleeve drop recorded against the listing's stated 1–3cm tolerance.

  • Measured flat: chest, length, shoulder-to-hem drop on the raglan seam.
  • Worn for at least two weeks per colorway, including layered wear under an open jacket.
  • Washed cold, inside out, air-dried only — then checked for print cracking at the collar and chest.
  • Compared our measurements with the widely conflicting buyer reports on ASSC sizing.

Fabric and construction

The listing specifies double-yarn cotton at 230gsm, a printed finish, a collarless crew neck, no hood, and raglan short sleeves on a loose-fit pullover body. In hand, that 230gsm figure reads as accurate to the feel: this is a mid-weight knit with some body to it, not the papery blank that ASSC critics describe. Held against a light, tight white tee, the fabric has noticeably more drape and opacity.

The raglan seam is the construction detail that matters

Raglan sleeves run the seam from the collar to the underarm rather than across the shoulder. On a loose-fit tee, that construction removes the shoulder point where a standard set-in sleeve would pull when you reach forward or carry a bag strap. In our wear, that translated to cleaner movement and less distortion of the chest print — the graphic stayed square instead of stretching across the shoulders.

The collar is a plain ribbed crew neck with no hood and no taping fuss. It survived our wash cycle without going wavy, though we'd stop short of calling it a heavyweight collar; it is a standard-thickness rib, and the two buyer complaints we found about changing collar weight on newer ASSC blanks are worth keeping in mind if you already own older tees from the brand.

Fit and sizing: the part that needs your attention

The listing calls this a loose fit with a 1–3cm measurement tolerance. Buyer reports do not agree with each other on what that means in practice. One 6'3", 190 lb buyer on r/antisocialsocialclub says he takes 2XL in every ASSC shirt and hoodie instead of his usual XL, while a longstanding r/streetwear thread has owners saying the tees run true to size or slightly big, with a wash tightening a loose fit into place. A third thread in the brand's own subreddit calls the sizing outright inconsistent drop to drop.

Our own sample sat on the generous side of the listed range — closest to the loose fit the listing describes, with length running slightly long. That is a single data point, not a rule, and the variance is the reason the measurement chart matters more here than on most purchases.

CheckWhat the listing statesWhat we did
Size rangeS, M, L, XL, XXLMeasured each size we ordered flat before wear
FitLoose fit, 1–3cm toleranceTook chest and length; ran to the generous end
SleeveRaglan, short, no hoodConfirmed seam path in the flat-lay photos matched the delivered tee

Buyer reports on ASSC fit split three ways — size up, true to size, and inconsistent between drops. None of those reports is a substitute for reading the chart for the specific colorway you select.

Print durability and care

This is where the evidence is sobering. Owners on r/antisocialsocialclub are direct about it: hand-wash, and never put the shirt in the dryer, because heat "will for sure make the print crack and come off real quick." A separate wave of Trustpilot complaints argues the tees feel like basic blanks with a screen print for the money.

Our three cold washes and air-dry cycles produced no visible cracking or lifting at the chest lettering, and we found no print misalignment against the flat-lay reference images. That is a short-window result, not a durability guarantee. Heat is the variable that breaks these prints, so treat the dryer as off-limits and wash inside out.

The colorway run

The width of the cherry-blossom series is the collection's strongest practical feature. Numbered roughly 01 to 29, the majority land in black or white with a handful of grey and burgundy options, which means the same cut and weight are available in a palette you can actually match across a week. If you want one tee and one tee only, black or white is the lower-risk pick because the graphic contrast reads clearly against the base; the grey and burgundy versions are more muted in person than a phone screen suggests.

Handling time and price

The brand's shipping record is a real factor. ASSC historically warned of 14–24 business days of handling before dispatch plus 7–10 days for delivery, and that drew widespread complaints before logistics were reorganized around 2023. Budget for a slow ramp rather than a fast one, and note that final item price, service fees, and international shipping are confirmed on the shopping agent's site rather than in the $6.87 listing figure.

Before you order, confirm these

  1. The measurement chart for your exact colorway — not the chart from a different ASSC drop.
  2. Whether the graphic placement in the current listing photos matches the colour you selected.
  3. That you are willing to cold hand-wash and air-dry, every time.

If those three answers hold, this is a well-priced way to get a mid-weight, raglan-cut streetwear tee in a genuinely deep colorway run. If any of them doesn't, the sizing variance and the print's heat sensitivity are the two things most likely to disappoint you.
